the lemonade dietLemonade Diet Recipe Update: I originally put this blog together to help others find the benefits of fasting using the Master Cleanser, or the lemonade diet. I have been using this fast for almost 40 years. In fact, as I write this I am on a fast, I usually fast from 1-3 days a month.

If you have never fasted, especially using this lemon detox plan, then I can’t emphasize enough how important fasting is, however, I find that the problem is, for those who actually go on the Master Cleanser fast, is what they eat afterwards.

Most people just fall back into eating the same ole crap that clogged their system to begin with. Because of that, I have developed an eating program that caters to those who, not only want to lose weight, but for those who want to get much healthier in the process.

Fasting for 10 days, cleansing the body of toxins, waste and some fat, then following it up with proper nutrition, is the key to building the bodies cells and tissue, strengthening the immune system, and setting your metabolism up to burn off excess fat.

Losing weight is easy, but permanent weight loss should be every persons goal. Once you get yourself on a healthy eating program, you’re losing weight, or maybe you have lost all of your excess weight, you will find that you can still eat the foods you love and still maintain permanent weight loss. You just need to now how to eat those foods properly.

I love ice cream and chocolate, but you know what? I eat chocolate at least a couple times a week, even ice cream too, and they never affect my weight. You just need to know how to do it.

I have been living this healthy lifestyle for almost 40 years and now at age 60, I’m still a pillar of good health. In fact, the doctors have been telling me for years how healthy I am.

Proper nutrition and a metabolism that keeps burning energy, wards off disease and maintains a healthy body. An unhealthy lifestyle invites disease into the body and then all sorts of havoc can take place. Which type of body do you want?

True Life Story of a Lifestyle Chance & How The Lemonade Diet Recipe Changed My Life: Almost 40-years I knew that I had to change my lifestyle. I was a junk food junkie, I had asthma all of my life, and at age 22 I was in the hospital twice in one year for pneumonia. I was almost 40 pounds overweight and I just knew I had to change something or I was going to be a mess for the rest of my life.

lemonade dietThe year that I turned 54, I fasted for a 10-day stretch and on the 7th day of drinking the Lemonade Diet Recipe I was up at 9,000 in the mountains, mountain biking. I was riding with a friend who was 25 years younger than I was and I was stronger on my bike that day than I had been in a long time. I know many of you may not believe that this is true, but believe me, it is!

Lemonade Diet Recipe Detox – Don’t Forget
the Two Most Important Items:

The lemonade diet recipe is only one third of the program. Don’t forget the salt water flush and the laxative tea.

I recommend that you do not drink the salt water flush the first day of the fast. Your body will still have too much food in it from the day before and your body may absorb the salt instead of flushing it. I suggest that you start the salt water flush on the second day of the program.

The first day you might want to take the laxative tea in the morning and again in the afternoon. This is what I do.

I know many of you get scared when you hear of salt water flush or laxative tea, but you must understand that the most important reason for drinking the lemonade diet recipe in the first place is to poop as much as you can.

You need to embrace these two steps, because you need to look at each bowl movement as a major victory in your quest to get healthier. The more bowl movements you have on this fast, the more toxins you will eliminate and the healthier you will be, plus the more weight you will lose.

I know it will not be easy for you to drink the salt water, but it is a must if you want to get the full benefits. My wife hates drinking the salt water! She agonizes over it, but she still sucks it up and does it, and she is the better for it.

It’s hard for me to drink 32 oz of fresh water at one time let alone 32 oz of salt water, but the colon flush that follows is so important in this lemonade detox that you don’t want to miss it.  

And once your are finished with the fast, whether it is 3-days or 5-days or if you make it 10-days, or if you go 30-days like a friend of mine did, when you start eating again, it is best to start slowly. 

Start by having vegetable soup or drinking fresh homemade fruit juices. Then follow up with maybe some steamed veggies.

Once you finish with the lemonade diet recipe fast, look forward to a healthier body, plus a thinner you. You will look better and feel much lighter, but the key now is to change your lifestyle. Better eating habits from this point forward will benefit you tremendously.
